Moonshine
Our moonshine is crafted with the finest Peruvian corn, delivering a smooth, full-bodied spirit deeply rooted in the land it comes from. Honoring Mama Killa, the Incan moon goddess and protector of women, this moonshine is a tribute to the celestial traditions that guided ancient Andean civilizations.

our moonshine process
1
Prepare the mash
A base rich in starch or sugar, commonly corn, water, and yeast, is mixed together. This mixture is later fermented so the sugars can turn into alcohol.
2
Fermentation
Over several days, the yeast converts the sugars into alcohol, creating a low-alcohol fermented liquid, similar to a rustic beer.
3
Distillation
The fermented liquid is heated in a still. Alcohol evaporates before water, and those vapors are then condensed into a stronger spirit.
4
Separating the cuts
The distiller separates the different parts of the distillate: heads, hearts, and tails. The “heart” is the cleanest and most desirable part for consumption.
5
Resting or bottling
Traditionally, moonshine is bottled without aging, which is why it is usually clear. It can also be rested or aged to develop more complexity.
