We’re passionate about ensuring we operate a sustainable way to ensure a greener future. That’s why the nutrient-rich byproducts of our distillation process are donated to local farmers to use as supplemental feed for their livestock.
Our spent mash is packed with proteins, fibers, and essential minerals, making it an excellent source of nutrition for cattle. By turning waste into a valuable resource, we support healthier livestock and more sustainable farming practices. And yes—the cows love it!
A Bottle with Purpose
At Lima Distillery Company, sustainability begins with thoughtful design. We believe that every bottle should have a purpose beyond its first pour.
Both Gin 1535 and Moonshine bottles are designed with integrated measurement markings along the sides, allowing them to be repurposed as mixing glasses once emptied. By extending the life of each bottle, we encourage a simple yet meaningful way to reduce waste while enhancing the cocktail-making experience.
Our commitment also extends to the production process. Rather than discarding bottles with minor cosmetic imperfections, we transform them into handcrafted cocktail glasses, giving each piece a new life and preventing valuable materials from going to waste.
Through intentional design and responsible craftsmanship, we strive to create spirits that leave a lasting impression—not a lasting environmental footprint.
