Our Spirits

Our Gin

1535 Gin is a tribute to a pivotal year in Peru’s history—the founding of Lima and the last year Sacsayhuaman stood in its full glory before the conquistadors dismantled much of it. This handcrafted gin blends botanicals native to Peru, celebrating the country’s enduring legacy.

Moonshine

Our Moonshine

Our moonshine is crafted with the finest Peruvian corn, delivering a smooth, full-bodied spirit deeply rooted in the land it comes from. Honoring Mama Killa, the Incan moon goddess, this moonshine is a tribute to the celestial traditions that guided ancient Andean civilizations.

Our Gin Process

Selecting the Finest Botanicals

The process begins with carefully sourcing juniper berries, citrus peels, herbs, and spices chosen to create the unique flavours of our gin and celebrate the local flora.

4

Collecting the Heart

During distillation, we collect the “heart” of the run—the portion of the vapor that contains the purest and most flavorful alcohol.

Infusing the Ingredients

The botanicals are steeped in pure water to release their natural flavors. This step allows the oils, aromas, and characteristics of each ingredient to infuse fully into the base, creating the foundation for a complex and balanced spirit.

Distillation in Copper Stills

Using traditional copper stills, the infusion is heated gently to turn the liquid into vapor. This critical step separates the alcohol from impurities while capturing the essence of the botanicals. Copper stills are ideal for this process as they enhance purity and refine the final flavor.

Diluting to Perfection

The distilled spirit is blended with pure water to achieve the desired alcohol content and flavor balance.

Harmonizing

Before bottling, the gin is allowed to rest for a minimum of six weeks. This step allows the spirit to settle and balances its aromatic complexity.

Bottling & Labeling

Our gin is hand-bottled and labeled with care. Each bottle represents our commitment to capturing the spirit of Peru in distinctive, collectible designs.

Whiskey Barrel Program

Be part of the rich tradition of bourbon production!

Whiskey Barrel Program – How it works:

Investors purchase barrels directly LDC, at wholesale rates, with no middle-man or secondary markets, ensuring authenticity and quality.

Barrels are stored in our warehouse under optimal conditions, with insurance covering potential risks.

Over the investment period, typically ranging from 3 to 10 years, the bourbon matures, enhancing its flavor and value.

  • Strong Returns: Industry experts report annual growth of 10-13.5%, with 13.9% yearly appreciation since 2010.
  • Tangible Asset: Unlike stocks or bonds, owning a bourbon barrel means holding a physical asset that matures and gains value over time, which has proven to not fluctuate over time like traditional markets.
  • Exit Strategy: Upon reaching the desired maturity, investors can choose to sell the barrel to private collectors, at auction, or bottle the whiskey for sale, each offering potential for significant returns.
